On a Samsung Galaxy series of Android phone, you can easily take screenshot by swipping the edge of your palm from left to right, which can be enabled from the settings.

When a friend asked how to take screenshot on his Sony Xperia, we literally spend about 10-15 minutes searching his phone settings if it had to be enables somewhere. But we did not find any such settings. So we hit the internet and realized you can, but it is not so straight forward.

On a Sony Xperia Android phone,  you can take screenshot by pressing and holding both the POWER button and VOLUME DOWN key for about 2-3 seconds. The camera shutter sounds and screenshot is taken.

It's not that comfortable as both the keys are on the same side.

If you would like to use a third party app, go to Google Play and download Quick Memo.
  • Search and install Quick Memo.
  • Slide down notification panel.
  • Tap on the Quick Memo icon.
  • Your screenshot will be save in the Gallery.
